I saw the tool that sailors use to circumnavigate the globe, which feels really important to your reading.

So, right away I knew that you were wanting to set sail, but that you know the lesson of preparation while a life goal is being sought. Travel, for you, is just one way to get to know this world aka school of ours...just one way to open to the dictates of your HIGHER self.

Feels like something from your past (felt it by my left shoulder) is keeping you from totally standing up for yourself…maybe, like me, someone cast their ill-fitting impressions of who you were early on in your direction?

I saw a big (feels red aka your passionate nature and your current desire) umbrella that protects you and yours…you are like a tiger when it comes to protecting your peeps from unwanted attention, people, and events. Also, this shows your social nature…you are unique in that you feel larger-grander-bigger when you spend time with people that you feel connected to.

I saw a magnifying glass…which could mean that you are looking for something small (the small stuff) aka minuscule that may be holding you up…and I saw a snake aka kundalini on level with your throat chakra. I feel that you will continue on your path toward furthering the force that Temperance bestows on your life, this year, and you will be looking at the possibilities for world travel…I could see you on a path much like the woman who wrote the book, ‘Eat, Love, Pray’ to connect with your LARGEST self. And that you will be confabbing with your friends-family-loved ones during the summer to pin things down a bit and guarantee that others might be okay during your possible absence(s.)

Dear Kirstin,

I don’t often do medical readings…but I do have two books on the subject ready to refer to, if need be. First, I am going to try to hone into the area of concern…this may come as physical symptoms that correspond in my body as I tune into your vibe.

What I tuned into…

I saw the tip of something pointing at you…I mixed your question up with two others and this is letting me know that we are here—right now—for you.

Also, I saw the strong-bright light that is used for portrait photos…called the key light:

“The key light is the first and usually most important light that a photographer, cinematographer, lighting cameraman, or other scene composer will use in a lighting setup. The purpose of the key light is to highlight the form and dimension of the subject.” ~online definition

Okay. We are narrowing our search.

Then I saw a large white barge on the water…I am feeling like you take your home with you wherever you go (kinda like a turtle)…and that your element is water. I felt (prior to this) that your issue was water-based and that you have issues with your boundaries (I saw a Russian nesting doll prior to officially starting to read for you…a preliminary rush of images sometimes happens when I am eager to tune into psi for the person I am reading for.)

Big barges have been known to carry trash, not always knowing that there will be off-site repository for shared human waste…are you ever constipated? (You don’t have to answer, but I am putting it out there…)

The barge was one level…with a solid white base, but no stairs to the sky… a floating home. As you are a Star, this may be part of what is frustrating you with your health issues? First you need to drop anchor…or find a harbor that suits you. You—also—need stairs and/or ladders in order to see where you are now and to chart your course for the bigger and better you! Create a platform or scaffolding for what you’d like to see come about in your life…if you want to focus on health, then you will be creating stairs to better understanding. Can you see yourself erecting these?

? - I feel/think that you may be like me, with your home being in the world…with freedom as an essential issue that may keep you adrift at times.

Also, I saw the light at the beginning of the tunnel…has a father-figure in your life died? Or are you your Father’s daughter? Feels like someone who has ahold of your heart is trying to make a/the connection with you. They may be hastening your sense of urgency about your own trip to the other side?

The light is so lovely and its pull towards the d-word is unmistakable…and often connected emotional attachments, still going strong…

Finally I saw a door knob…the old-fashioned kind, with the vantage being from below. This FEELS like it is about Alice, Alice in Wonderland, with the message “Eat Me,” which was all about her getting bigger, so that she could turn that knob. In what ways can you make yourself a bigger presence in your own life and the lives of others?

“After she sits down and starts crying in frustration and scolding herself to stop, she noticed that a little glass box had magically appeared out of nowhere underneath the table. Inside the box was a small cake that had the words "EAT ME" marked on it in currants. After she ate the entire cake, she grew so large that her head struck against the ceiling in the hall. So, the turnaround in your health could be as simple as drinking more water…taking more baths…spending time near water (rivers, lakes, streams, etc.)…it is in your hands, or in the glass in your hands. The emotional body is usually located in the 2nd chakra, and maybe with this also in the 5th. The 2nd chakra houses the emotional body…and the 5th, is about your finding your own voice in this lifetime. Please don’t quote me with this…I am only loosely tied into these concepts…

Bibliomancy, using Sherrie Dillard’s book Develop your Medical Intuition:

“A sacred illness or disease is one in which an illness or disease serves a divine function. This is what is called a soul contract. It is an agreement some souls make before entering the earth life to use illness or disease as a tool for their higher good. When an illness or disease enlightens, transforms, and awakens us to a truth, knowing, and experience of love and compassion that could not come to us any other way, it fulfills a higher purpose.

The idea that the physical body can be a tool that our emotions, mind, and spirit use to awaken us can be hard to accept and fully understand. This is because we believe that we are primarily physical beings. The body defines us and we often believe that without one we cease to exist. Yet this is simply not true. The body is temporary. The spirit is eternal.

The material quoted above (thanks Sherrie Dillard) feels right. So, there may be something or some things that you can do that mirror the symbolism of Alice eating the cake that would make her larger, so that she could turn the door knob.

Day 4: Paula's Reading (Part 2.)

With your question I felt that you've had some kind of disappointment in this area of your life. This is pretty common, but my intuition says that bits 'n pieces of that disappointment are showing up in your current emotional register. Also, I wondered whether you might have danced (ballet?) or do dance? If not that then maybe you are in the midst of your 'Dance of Intimacy,' a book by Harriet Lerner...something to check out, perhaps?

The best part of this reading was that I clearly saw the light of a shooting star...this bright light is in your night sky, so you will have to be poised to look for it. I see shooting stars as wish fulfillment (i.e your wish will come true!) Good news Paula!

Then with that vibe I saw an older model car...kind of boxy and square...this puts me in the frame of mind to address your potential partner (you don't have to say 'yes' to him, but this is who and what I feel is coming up.)

The solidity of the frame of the car and it's age put me in mind of the tarot court card the King of Spades or Pentacles...this is someone who is older than you and firmly in place in their life, all they need is you...and together I can see some road trips involved in your courtship and life with this man...if you chosse it.

I heard the word 'dominatrix' which might show that YOU are the be all and end all for this event in your life...you will be deciding who and what stays and goes...in an exacting way.

Then I saw what looked and felt like batter for a cake, a pound or yellow cake, and you are pouring the batter into a cake pan...this feels like something that you have been cooking up for a while...

Hey V.,

Your question is a two-parter:

1. Will I be able to better my finances? Yes/No.

2. Will my finances improve in the coming weeks/months/year/years?

I usually don't use props, I go straight to my open third-eye...but this time I will finish up my reading by consulting a pendulum...for practice and sharing purposes.

I do use L. Day's apple trick with many yes/no questions: I imagine an apple in my hands, and if it gets smaller it's a no, and if it gets larger it's a yes. If you get interference, at first, then practice visualizing a blank canvas or a blank movie-theater screen--before the images that might follow with the pre-movie adverts and previews--to place the apple in front of. Sometimes it is hard to hone in on that imagery and that is where--I have found--a pendulum can help.

Your reading (1st part):

Will I be able to better my finances?

I got a strong Yes. And I saw a fighter jet heading up, already having taken flight (i.e. no longer grounded), the jet was a dark blue-black color*. (IMHO) The jet is good strong symbol for you to identify with. But also a message that you are going to have to bring your best self to this good fight, primarily between your own self and gravity or gravitas. I see that you will have to punch it to get past the place where you have come to feel more at home -> in debt? -> you have bound yourself to a smaller reality than need be...due to inexperience or fear of taking more on than you are comfortable.

(The angle of the jet--in my jet--was way steeper...almost upright.)

Things have been quiet...lately...toadstool quiet. You can always return to that, but your desire is gathering energy, gaining purchase in the sky, and wanting to gaze at the stars...in the heavens. Visualize your goal: yourself punching beyond the gravity that would keep you rooted and earthbound.

I heard six...six weeks, six months, six years?

For this I consulted a pendulum and it hovered around six months...with a vision of your ship cresting the waves...the ship was ocean liner size, which to me represents the size of your challenge and the fact that this step is essential to your soul-work-growth. This will be a long voyage of discovery, with you seeing change in about six months. And the final symbol that came up is the moon, a crescent moon with maybe your child-self in the moon chair (like you see for Dreamworks films) fishing.
